Fry, Roger (Eliot)
(14 dic. 1866, Londres, Inglaterra–9 sep. 1934, Londres).

Crítico de arte y artista británico. Abandonó una carrera científica para estudiar arte en Italia. Como curador del Museo Metropolitano de Arte (1906–10), descubrió la obra de los postimpresionistas, y en 1910 introdujo el postimpresionismo en Gran Bretaña, al organizar la primera de dos exposiciones muy importantes. Junto con Clive Bell, Fry destacó la importancia de la "forma significante sobre el contenido en una obra de arte. Se asoció al grupo de Bloomsbury, y junto a varios miembros del círculo cofundó, en 1913, los Talleres Omega para las artes y las artesanías. Fue conocido como un brillante conferencista y autor de numerosos libros.
